This is a basic shaped top with the front being cut from a piece of deadstock unused vintage bark cloth fabric. We have washed these tops, as they combine three different fabrics, we like to know there is no shrinkage or colour run.
The body of this top is cut from French terry, which is also known as loop back. It is often used in tracky pants and hoodies. There is khaki cotton elastane rib at the hems and neckband.
The feature front panel is a fairly heavy weight cotton, it is upholstery weight. This is vintage 60's barkcloth fabric, so called because of the texture of the fabric. It was unused, but as mentioned, we have washed the tops, which has also softened the barkcloth.
